These terms govern all cleaning services provided by EdgeLink Cleaning Sdn Bhd (Reg. No. 202001023871 (1378455-T)) ("EdgeLink") to clients in Malaysia. By confirming a booking — through the website, by phone or by WhatsApp — you accept these terms.
1. Quotes and scope
Every job is performed against a written quote describing the property, the service type and the price. The quote is based on the information you provide; if the crew finds the property materially different from the description (for example, significantly larger, or in post-party rather than lived-in condition), we will contact you to agree an adjusted price before proceeding. You may decline and pay only a call-out fee of RM 60.
2. Access and presence
You may hand over access in person, via building concierge, or by lockbox. You do not need to be present during the service, but a contact number must be reachable in case of questions. If the crew cannot access the property within 30 minutes of the appointment, the visit counts as cancelled on the day (clause 3).
3. Rescheduling and cancellation
- Rescheduling or cancelling more than 24 hours before the appointment: free.
- Within 24 hours: an RM 40 adjustment applies, as the crew slot is already reserved.
- Cancellation on the day, or no access on arrival: 50% of the quoted price, capped at RM 200.
4. Our guarantee
If any checklist item was missed, report it within 24 hours of completion (photos help) and we will return to re-clean the affected areas free of charge, normally within 48 hours. If the re-clean still does not resolve the issue, we refund the part of the fee attributable to the affected areas. This guarantee covers the agreed scope only; it does not extend to wear, permanent staining or damage that cleaning cannot reverse.
5. Damage and liability
Our crews are trained to handle homes with care, and EdgeLink carries public liability insurance of RM 50,000 per incident. Report any suspected damage within 48 hours. We ask that irreplaceable or fragile valuables be stored away before the visit; liability for cash, jewellery and data-bearing devices left in the open is limited to RM 500 in total.
6. Payment
One-off services are payable on completion, after your walkthrough, by FPX, card or DuitNow QR. Recurring plans are invoiced monthly in arrears with 7-day terms. Commercial contracts follow the payment schedule in their service agreement. Late amounts may attract interest at 1.5% per month after a reminder.
7. Staff non-solicitation
Our cleaners are salaried employees we recruit, vet and train. Clients agree not to directly engage an EdgeLink employee for private cleaning work within 12 months of their last EdgeLink assignment; the agreed fee for breach is RM 3,000, reflecting recruitment and training costs.
8. General
These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. If any clause is found unenforceable, the remainder stays in force. We may update these terms from time to time; the version on this page at the time of your booking applies to that booking. Questions are welcome at [email protected].
